ACCELLIS
is proud to offer the cutting edge REGISTERED
E-MAIL® service
which will change the way you do business!
We have arranged for RPost to offer
the Registered E-mail
service to
ACCELLIS
members at a
special
reduced rate.
1.
What is RPost Registered E-mail®?
Unlike
the common 'read receipt', the Registered
E-mail® services provide legal and verifiable
evidence of the content and time any e-mail was sent
and received by anyone, anywhere in the world.
The service is designed to protect the sender in
those instances where the delivery, content or time
of an e-mail are disputed, in addition to enhancing
efficiency and cost-savings. Think of it as a tool
that can save you time, money, and headaches!
2. Service Overview
The Registered E-mail
service is simple to install and use, and works with
your current e-mail program. All features are
available at the click of a “Send Registered ”
button. Advanced security features are available at
no extra cost as part of the main service menu.
RPost services have
been accredited, tested, and have been used daily by
certain agencies within the U.S. Federal Government
since 2003. RPost services are about protecting the
sending organization in a dispute by ensuring that
their business e-mail may be admissible as evidence
in any dispute resolution situation.
This distinction
between e-discovery and e-admissibility is one that
is important, and one that RPost solves and is a
niche where RPost clearly has the answer, and is
stand-alone in this area.
Registered E-mail
messages hold far greater evidential weight than
traditional mail, courier, fax, or e-mail, and
therefore, provide the sender with protection that
will stand up to scrutiny in a dispute resolution
situation. The Registered E-mail service
provides the sender with the upper hand in any legal
discovery disputes. It includes a record of
the TRANSACTION and the TRANSACTION META-DATA in a
verifiable, reconstructable, easy to manage form
which is essential information to ensure
admissibility of e-mail evidence.
