Marked
Overview
|
By using the Marked feature for a Registered Email® message, the sender makes the recipient aware that the particular email has been sent "Registered” and that the sender has proof of delivery, content and time. The RPost™ system adds the trademark "(R)egistered:™ " in the subject line and places a Registered Email banner within the email. Common Questions: What happens if the user reads email in plain text? Does the recipient need any special software other than an email program? Can anyone, besides the intended recipient, read my email? |

Marked Feature Summary: Marked Email provides the same assurance as a standard Registered Email message, and there are special banners or markings on the receiver's end so they know your email was sent "Registered." This feature provides the sender with the Registered Email service protection while alerting the receiver that the sender has this proof. Step 1: Compose a new Message and press the "Send Registered" button. |

Receiver's View
|
Upon receiving a Marked Registered Email message, the recipient becomes aware that the message has been sent Registered and the sender has Legal Proof of the transmission. The recipient does not need to do anything differently – they simply open the email as they would normally do for any email. All attachments are included, as in a standard email. There are no requirements to click-through or download anything. This shows the commercial look for the U.S. market. When the receiver opens the email, a graphic banner or the words "***Registered Email***" (if the receiver does not have HTML or is off-line) appear at the top of the email. All attachments are included in the email, as originally sent. |
