Verification
Any recipient of
an e-mail with Digital Seal protection can verify
authorship and integrity of the body text and
attachments - and have the original regenerated - by
forwarding the e-mail with the Digital Seal™ mark,
with all attachments, to
verify@rpost.net. Again, RPostŪ does not
store any e-mail. Note the text, "If
you have questions about the authenticity of this
message, you may authenticate it by forwarding a
copy to verify@rpost.net" at the bottom of the
e-mail.
Note:
- Any future recipient (second,
third+) can verify origin, authorship, and
integrity, since
Digitally Sealed e-mail can
be forwarded and maintains its verification
functionality.
- Any recipient can regenerate the
original e-mail.
- The Digital Seal service works for all e-mail
systems (web mail, PINE, Terminal, etc.).
Step 1:
Press "Forward" on the
e-mail with the Digital Seal protection.
Step 2:
An E-mail Authentication message is
instantly sent back to the submitter. The
E-mail Authentication verifies the integrity,
authorship and content of the original message and
any attachment(s).
