LOS
ANGELES—February 15, 2007—RPost®, a leader in
managed outbound messaging with its flagship Registered E-mail®
service suite, today announced that its technology was recognized as
a finalist in the Messaging and Collaboration Solutions category for
the 13th annual IBM Lotus Awards. The 2007 award was granted to IBM PartnerWorld member Gaia Informatica for its leadership in enhancing
IBM Lotus software solutions with RPost’s Registered E-mail
services.
The IBM Lotus Awards recognize exceptional IBM PartnerWorld members
that specialize in Lotus software solutions and have excelled at
providing quality products, innovative solutions and superior
services to customers.
RPost Registered E-mail service allows users to send critical e-mail
messages and electronic documents with verifiable proof of delivery
and the atomic clock time-stamp. RPost e-mail users are returned
legally valid evidence of precisely what e-mail content and
attachments were sent and received, by whom and when. For the
highest assurance of confidentiality, the RPost system does not
retain a copy of the original e-mail, unlike alternative “store and
forward” solutions, nor does it require e-mail recipients to
download specialized software, click on links, or enter any
passwords.
E-mail is one of the most efficient methods of communication for
enterprise users. However, traditional e-mail applications are
unable to verify the content of e-mail messages or prove legally
that a message was actually received. With RPost, e-mail users can
comfortably use RPost Registered E-mail messages for electronic
business communications that have consequence, such as binding
property to contracts and proposals. By arming users with verifiable
proof of delivery and content, e-mail suddenly becomes a viable
alternative to overnight delivery of business critical information
and allows organizations to save significant time and money.
“We are honored to be named a finalist for the distinguished IBM
Lotus Award and recognition of RPost as one of the best in messaging
and collaboration solutions,” said Zafar Khan, co-founder and CEO of
RPost. “This award validates RPost for creating a simple,
cost-effective method that shores up the last-mile security gap in
traditional electronic business communications, enabling IBM Lotus
Notes and Domino customers to send Registered E-mail messages with
legal proof of delivery for their most critical business purposes.”
