Cease and Desist Notices
Since September 2009, as a result of RPost's cease and desist notices, over half a dozen companies that claimed to offer proof of email delivery have either withdrawn their services or ceased operation as a result. Competitors Olympus.net, GProof, and RegisteredEmail.com have shut down their special email services altogether (with the domain www.registeredemail.com transferred to RPost), and several US-based ISP’s have stopped hosting web sites of RPost’s offshore competitors.

September 14, 2009: RPost Sues Goodmail Over Certified Email
RPost has brought suit against Goodmail Systems for infringement of RPost patents. The RPost suit is targeted at Goodmail’s Certified Email “Paper Suppression” service. RPost has asked the US Federal Court to issue an injunction to prevent further damages.

October 9, 2009: RPost Sues AOL and Yahoo! Over Certified Email
RPost has brought suit against AOL and Yahoo! for patent infringement, adding their names to its ongoing litigation against Goodmail Systems. RPost has asked the US Federal Court to issue an injunction to prevent further damages.

November 23, 2009: RPost Sues Swiss Post Over Certified Email
RPost has brought suit against Swiss Post for infringement of RPost patents. The RPost suit is targeted at Swiss Post's IncaMail certified email authentication service. RPost has asked the US Federal Court to issue an injunction to prevent further damages.
Settled Under Confidential Terms, May 20th, 2010. As part of the settlement, Swiss Post agreed to cease offering it's secure, verified, and third-party authenticated email services in the U.S. market.
November 30, 2009: RPost Sues Globalpex Over Certified Email
RPost has brought suit against Globalpex for infringement of RPost patents. The RPost suit is targeted at Globalpex's certified email and other certified delivery authentication services. RPost has asked the US Federal Court to issue an injunction to prevent further damages.
