Proof Archive™

Overview

RPost packages each email record in a durable, verifiable, and self-contained email format called the Registered Receipt™ email. There are three options for storing these receipts:

  1. Sender’s inbox (“Receipts” folder)
  2. Corporate mailbox
  3. RPost Proof Archive™ service

RPost’s Proof Archive™ is a management tool that ensures that a copy of the evidentiary record of the entire email transaction – the Registered Receipt™ email* – is readily available in a master repository for quick and easy retrieval if a backup copy is needed. By automatically copying all Registered Receipts to a secure online archive, this service streamlines storage and facilitates the the e-discovery process.

The Proof Archive can be deployed in-house, or enabled in a hosted environment by an RPost partner. Once activated, copies of Registered Receipt emails are automatically routed to a web-accessible repository that is searchable by date, key word, message sender, message recipient, classification code, among other criteria. To retrieve receipts, one simply accesses the archive site, highlights the desired Registered Receipt email, and at the click of a button it is automatically emailed to the sender, a designated IT contact, or a designated third party such as the recipient, their IT department or a dispute mediator.
