Input: Submit Data into the RPost Cloud
The RPost Cloud processing platform acts as an infrastructure extension to developers’ own software platforms to add legally valid proof and non-repudiation, security and compliance, electronic signature and authentication, and collaboration and deliverability services.
Submitting data into the RPost Cloud platform for processing can be achieved in a variety of ways:
- SMTP Email Schema: One can route email to the RPost Cloud with the special formatting of the messages, forwarding to an RPost server, or adding an extension to recipient email addresses such that the message enters the RPost Cloud platform and is processed with the appropriate characteristics.

c. Mail redirect to RPost Cloud platform gates - Web services API: RPost offers a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) web services interface to securely transmit via HTTPS data, email, and messages to the RPost Cloud platform specially tagged to be processed with the appropriate characteristics.
- Open Apps™: RPost offers programmatic access to baseline software that RPost has developed for popular platforms such as Outlook, Lotus, Zimbra, iPad, iPhone, Browser (Explorer, Safari, Mozilla, Chrome), Salesforce.com, among others. These can be adapted by developers, building on RPost base software applications. We call these RPost “Open Apps”.
- Authentication: For Registered Receipt, Digitally Signed, or Digital Seal record authentication, RPost offers an SMTP method of routing these via email to the RPost Cloud platform for instant third-party authentication. RPost can also provide for custom methods of batch authentication.
